We’re seeking a Sales Director – North America & International to join our leadership team as we enter an exciting next stage of growth in our wholesale and distributor business.
In this role, you’ll lead our wholesale strategy and execution across the US, Canada, and our international distributor network; driving sustainable growth, building strong market relationships, and delivering an elevated brand experience at every touchpoint. This is a leadership position that blends strategic vision with active involvement in execution, working in close partnership with cross-functional teams.

primary responsibilities
Drive Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute a marketplace strategy that fuels growth in the North America and international markets.
- Expand into new territories, channels, and distribution opportunities aligned with Ciele’s brand foundation.
- Stay ahead of market trends, consumer insights, and competitor moves to inform smart, timely decisions.
Lead & Inspire
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team and representatives, agencies, and distributor network.
- Set clear goals, foster accountability, drive results, and develop the next generation of leaders within the sales organization.
Execute with Excellence
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive sell-in and sell-through strategies.
- Elevate in-store and digital brand experiences across wholesale partners and distributors.
- Ensure product assortment, allocation, visual presentation, and marketing activation align with brand objectives.
Own the Numbers
- Lead forecasting, reporting, and analytics to align sales targets with strategic initiatives.
- Manage budgets and profitability across markets, optimizing margins and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key accounts and distributors to unlock long-term growth.
specific required qualifications
- 10+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in wholesale sales leadership with P&L responsibility.
- Proven ability to grow markets and strengthen brands in apparel, headwear, or accessories.
- Deep understanding of wholesale and distributor business models.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a knack for building lasting partnerships.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong forecasting and planning abilities.
- Proficiency in sales tools and systems (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM/ERP, etc).
- Organized, adaptable, and ready to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- A passion for leading teams, building markets, and delivering results.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) and fluent knowledge of French.
