a ciele athletics x article one joint adventure
in 2020 we launched our first joint adventure with article one, the GTGlass. a modern take on sports eyewear, inspired by late 70’s and 80’s athletics aesthetics. the GTGlass became award winning frames, including runner’s world gear of the year.
this spring, we launch the GTGlass 2.0, featuring a refreshed, distinctly vintage shape, performance material updates, and new colour and pattern offerings.
the GTGlass 2.0 frames are engineered with hexetate – a patented acrylic resin that allows for improved flexibility, enhanced shape memory and added durability
the GTGlass 2.0 are offered in two frame colours — a classic black and a modern take on tortoise — each with two colored-lens options.
they are constructed with CR-39 polarized lenses that include a back-side anti-reflective coating to block 100% of UVA/UVB rays and prevent road glare.
the frames also boast article one’s signature adjustable nose pads, rubber temple tips and spring hinges.
